About the University

We teach the art of doing less — on purpose.

The Lazy Genius University isn't a school with walls. It's a growing body of work — books, tools, and ideas — built on one stubborn conviction about how achievement actually works.

Where It Began
2:17 AM
On a Tuesday · the night everything changed

I was hunched over my laptop, empty coffee cups around me like fallen soldiers, working on yet another "urgent" project that couldn't wait until morning.

I had been averaging 72 hours of work a week for three straight months. My colleague Tony worked 40 — strict, laptop never left the office — and delivered the same results. Down the hall, Sarah worked even fewer hours and produced more impressive work than both of us.

The math didn't add up. And that night, instead of asking "how do I work more?", I asked the only question that actually matters: why do some people achieve so much with so much less visible effort?

The answer took three years of research, interviews, and uncomfortable personal experiments to find. It became a book — and the book became the foundation of everything published here.

I'm not selling you a shortcut. I'm selling you the truth I had to learn at 2:17 AM — and the framework I built so you don't have to.

What We Believe

Strategic laziness is harder than hustle.

Hustle culture sold a whole generation a simple lie: that exhaustion is evidence of effort, and effort is evidence of worth. So we learned to wear our tiredness like a badge — and forgot to ask what we were tired from.

The lazy genius asks a better question. Not "how do I do more?" but "what can I stop doing — permanently — without anything bad happening?" That question is more demanding than any to-do list, because it requires you to think clearly about what actually matters. That's the work we teach.

Our Mission
Why we exist
To dismantle hustle culture with evidence, not opinion — and give professionals permission to build extraordinary results without extraordinary suffering.
Our Vision
Where we're going
To become the trusted home — through books, tools, and community — for anyone ready to graduate from the hustle and enrol in a smarter way of working and living.

U.O. Lewis

U.O. Lewis is a Nigerian author and digital-product creator writing at the intersection of productivity, personal development, human relationships, and online income. Based in Port Harcourt, he writes for professionals, entrepreneurs, and students across Africa who are done with generic advice and ready for strategies that work in their world.

His work follows one core belief: the most successful people aren't the ones who work the hardest — they're the ones who figured out what actually works, and did that instead. The Lazy Genius University is where that belief becomes books, tools, and — in time — much more.

Start with the Blueprint.

Everything the university teaches begins in one book. Thirteen chapters on working less and achieving more.
